The Horses
Throughout my career thus far I have had the opportunity to ride some amazing horses. I currently have quite a few nice horses that I am excited about. I decided to make a page just for them so everybody can see my current competition horses and projects!
Chance of A Lifetime
This 11 year old Holsteiner gelding is owned by Danielle Goulding. I have ridden him for a combined total of almost two years now (some prior to my deployment and now almost 18 months after). This horse truly is a "Chance of a Lifetime", I am so lucky to ride and train him. With the help of my instructor, Jamie Nicalatto we are schooling solid Fourth Level and plan on competing starting this year at Third Level and finishing the year at Fourth level. My longterm goal with this guy is to compete at the FEI levels.
Pepperbox
This is my own personal horse, an 11 year old Thoroughbred gelding. He stands a solid 17.2 hands and is quite an impressive, powerful animal. He has been evented extensively through Preliminary. He also went to my "B" this past year. This horse has answered every question i have ever asked of him with courage and a tremendous will to work. I am convinced that if I asked him to he would event through Advanced for me, but due to injuries he has acquired I have decided that it wouldnt be fair to ask him to event at the upper levels anymore. I have turned his reins over to Pat Wilcher and they have been successfully competing at Training Level.
DownTown Brown
This young gelding is my little superstar, the horse that I trust with my life. I've owned him for a little over a year now, I got him as a greenie almost straight off the track. He is a seriously nice horse that is coming into his own and will be a tremedous eventer for years to come. He is unfortunatly for sale at this time as I cannot afford to compete two horses, but I am going to enjoy him as long as I can! If not sold he will be competing in the spring.
